U11 – game duration 70 minutes or 6 innings, mercy rule 10 runs difference after 5 innings, 15 runs difference after 4 innings. Final game is played without time limit on 6 innings
U13 – game duration 90 minutes or 7 innings, mercy rule 10 runs difference after 6 innings, 15 runs difference after 5 innings, 20 runs after 4 innings. Final game is played without time limit on 7 innings
U15 – game duration 100 minutes or 7 innings, mercy rule 10 runs difference after 6 innings, 15 runs difference after 5 innings, 20 runs after 4 innings. Final game is played without time limit on 7 innings
Inning is finished after three outs or 6 runs (when hit homerun, all runs are counted).
If the home team is in lead during the bottom of inning and the time limit is over, then is the home team declared a winner and the game is over.
In the case, there is a draw after all innings were played, o after the time limit, the „tiebreaker” rule comes into force. „Tiebreak“ is played by official Czech rules. (Runners ale placed on first and second base with no outs. The order of any subsequent innings will be determined by how the previous inning ended. That is, if the 7th inning ends with the #6 hitter having the last official at bat, then the 8th inning begins the #7 hitter at bat, and the #5 hitter at 2B and the #6 hitter at first base. All other rules of baseball will remain in effect).
Pitcher can finish batter in the box over his daily limit. Pitcher can start only in one game per day. His pitches over daily limit will be counted in his tournament limit. Only fastballs and changeups are allowed in U11 and U13 categories. Other pitch will be called as “ball” by the umpire. All types of pitches are allowed only in U15 category.
Catcher cannot switch to pitcher in the same game. Pitcher cannot switch to catcher in the same game.
There is no material (alloy, wood or composite) limitation, only length limitations as follows:
Dropped third strike does not mean automatic out. Defense must play a force play,
unless there is runner on first with less than 2 outs.
Is allowed in all three categories
The substituted player of the basic set may return to the game once, to any place in the order of batsmen. However, this return is only possible after his substitute has completed at least one start at bat or played in the field for at least 6 consecutive outs.
Each player in the roster must entry to each game.
Entry to the game means to have at least one plate appearance (PAB >=2) and at least two innings in defense (IP = 2). In case of DH (designated hitter) must by applied rule PAB >=2.
For pitchers must to be applied rule IP = 1. In case that pitcher is not able complete 3 outs as a pitcher for any reason, pitches limit for example, must go to the field to complete rule IP = 1, or and PAB >=2. If the game is finished by mercy rule, entry each player to the game is not mandatory. If manager will not apply those rules for games, manager will be disqualified from EBT.
In case, that all players already went to the game and player is injured, player which will replace injured player can be selected from players which has been already replaced from game.
